8.5" Stainless Steel Solar Vent w/ Battery and Remote On/Off Switch description
This solar vent is designed to increase ventilation in a variety of spaces including boats, RV's, greenhouses, vans, homes, and any other area where air circulation is a problem. By using one or more vents, you can decrease or eliminate the damaging effects of mold, mildew, moisture, and excessive heat buildup.
These solar vents are easily installed and, best of all, they run off of the sun only. This means no wiring, no plugs, no noise, and no running cost whatsoever.
Day & Night Model
All models feature a rechargeable Ni-MH battery allowing the vent to run both under direct sun light and when no direct sun light is available. All Day & Night models have an on/off switch.
Additionally, there are models available with remote solar panels and remote on/off switches. The SVT-224SR includes a battery and remote solar panel allowing the solar panel to be placed up to 15' away. The SVT-224SA includes a battery and remote on/off switch allowing the solar panel to be turned on or off up to 15' away
